\nThe Maureen Tudehope Centre is a multi-purpose, state-of-the-art centre that is home to our exceptional sports, music and performing arts facilities.
\nNamed in honour of Maureen Tudehope, a friend and supporter of the school, Maureen’s generous family helped make our dream for this centre a reality.

\nGiven the diversity of activities held at the Maureen Tudehope Centre, it is a central part of our school community and hosts many special events.
\n\nWe have two libraries on campus, one each for the senior and junior schools. The libraries are modern and provide our students with flexible spaces for learning, discovery and connection.
\nThe Mary Agnes O’Neil Library was opened by Governor-General Sir William Deane on 21 June 1998. Built into the cliffs of Rose Bay, our Senior School library is an idyllic location for quiet study, group learning and discovery.
\nIn 2014 the library was refurbished to meet the collaborative learning style we value at KRB. Our senior school library is a learning space, a meeting place and where our students can explore the literary greats.
\nThe furniture was chosen to cater for both individual work and group collaboration and is regularly rearranged to create optimum learning spaces.
\nThe reading collections can be found on the lower level which has been designed with modular seating for class groups and relaxed reading.
\nThe Turnbull Centre within the library provides a flexible space for conferences, classrooms, tutoring and collaborative work. All students have access to after school tutoring with KRB teachers in the Turnbull Centre each afternoon.
\nThe two levels of the library are serviced by a lift with access from the Harbour Terrace. The terrace, overlooking Sydney harbour, has outdoor seating to provide an alternative location for reading and study.
\n\nOur Junior School Library is designed to meet the needs of developing readers while also equipping our students with essential 21st century skills.
\nIn the STEM Cove, our junior school students immerse themselves in interactive coding, robotics and LEGO activities. The space fosters creativity, problem solving, communication, digital literacy and enquiry skills that modern learners need to adapt and succeed in a changing world.
\nGrok Coding at lunchtimes and before school is an opportunity for students to further extend their STEM interest. They can read quietly, borrow books, draw, create, build and work with tools to take computers apart and safely explore the mechanics of technology.
\nEach week, the library also hosts our peer tutoring program. This involves Year 10 students tutoring Junior School students after school and is an important connection between our junior and senior schools.
\n\nDesigned by renowned architect, John Horbury Hunt, our chapel was completed in 1900 and is now listed as a heritage building.
\nThe KRB Chapel Society are committed to ensuring the chapel’s significance to the KRB community is honoured along with its history.
\nIn 1904 the Sacred Heart Convent in Bordeaux, France sent a rare 1890 Puget organ to Sydney. This organ resides in the chapel and has been carefully restored by French organ builders. The organ is enjoyed at the many concerts, recitals and weddings held in the chapel each year.

\nOur Community Learning Spaces were designed to balance interaction and education to create environments where students can engage with study and the richness of KRB school life.
\nThe key feature of our Community Learning Spaces is that they cater to a broad range of learning styles to offer something for every student. Whether it is individual, group or whole class learning activities, the modern facilities foster collaboration, community and connection to the history of our school.
\nEntire year groups can use the meeting place or classes can take advantage of the break out spaces for small group work. The spaces are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and are equipped with refrigerator, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities to enhance the community element and encourage togetherness.
\n\nThe Early Learning Centre comprises of two buildings, Joigny and Sophie’s Place, with purpose-built facilities to encourage curiosity, develop knowledge and create interactions and friendships between the children.
\nThe buildings are on the foreshore, overlooking Sydney Harbour. They have access to KRB’s own bushland areas and private access to the harbour beaches where students regularly visit during their Wildtime program.
\n\nIn 2013 the Year 7 Community Learning Space was completed. This space was designed with the intention of bringing students together to connect, learn and socialise while using the latest educational technology, interior design and facilities. The space, now called the Stuart Centre, was officially opened on Friday 8 November by the Hon. Gabrielle Upton MP.
\nMoving from primary to secondary school can be quite daunting for many students as they enter a larger school with different teachers, learning areas and students. The Stuart Centre has been planned so that it supports students from primary in a seamless transition to high school. It provides them with a physical base for interacting with their peers and teachers, both during and outside of class. The Stuart Centre is equipped with a number of modern and user-friendly facilities, including a kitchen, so that students have a place to call their own during a normal school day. As well, the Year Coordinator forms part of the Centre, enabling effective interaction between the students and the staff.
\nFrom a learning and educational perspective, this flexible, technology-rich learning space provides personalised learning opportunities for all Year 7 students as they interact with teachers across subjects.
\n\nThe Jean Marie Flynn Year 12 Learning Hub was built over the site of the old gym and swimming pool, overlooking Sydney Harbour. The space incorporates individual and collaborative learning areas, a staff room, kitchen, common room and amphitheatre. It is an ideal transition for Year 12 students in their progression to tertiary study and career paths.

\nLinda is an experienced lawyer who has worked in private practice, government and corporate environments, providing commercial, corporate, and risk management advice.
\nLinda has been a member of the Kincoppal-Rose Bay Governance, Risk and Safeguarding Committee since 2014 and is currently Chair.
\nThe Kincoppal-Rose Bay community has been a constant and significant part of Linda’s family for many years. Her three daughters were educated at KRB from 1999 – 2013.
\n\nIsabel is currently the Regional Director of Finance for Asia at McKinsey & Company. As a member of the senior leadership team, she oversees the finance functions across the region and enables holistic and sustainable growth across Southeast Asia, Japan, India, Korea and Australia & New Zealand.
\nShe holds a Business Degree from the University of Technology Sydney (majoring in Finance & Accounting) and is an FCPA with extensive Finance, Accounting, and Business Management expertise.
\nIsabel is passionate about using her business experience to have a positive impact on society. She was one of the first directors and board member of Generation Australia in 2018. In addition to being a KRB Board member, Isabel also chairs the Finance Committee.
\nIsabel has a daughter currently at KRB, and her elder daughter graduated from KRB in 2019.
\n\nPaul holds an MSc (Econ) and PhD from the London School of Economics. He is a highly respected academic and has held senior research, lecture and professional positions at several universities and colleges throughout the United Kingdom and Australia.
\nPaul has published 16 books in the fields of human resources and industrial relations. He has also written over 36 book chapters and 60 refereed articles in leading academic journals. He is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development (UK).
\nPaul was also a member of the KRB Finance Committee 2014-2025, including his tenure as Chair from 2021-2025. He is a former parent of a daughter who graduated in 2018.
\n\nDiana is a Religious of the Sacred Heart and a past student of The Convent of the Sacred Heart, Rose Bay.
\nDiana served as Principal of Barat-Burn for three years before working as a teacher, and later Principal, at St Therese, Sadleir in south-west Sydney. She has also worked in a variety of social work settings.
\nDiana holds a number of qualifications, including a Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Theology. She has recently completed her term on the Stuartholme Board in Brisbane and is presently a Director of Catholic Healthcare Ltd.
\n\nCathy Kovacs is an experienced director serving on the boards of a number of public and private companies in the financial services and education sector. Prior to her non-executive director career, she was a senior executive in financial services working for some of Australia’s largest companies, including Westpac and Macquarie Group.
\nShe holds a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) and a Master of Applied Finance (Macquarie University).
\nCathy served on the KRB Finance Committee for 5 years before joining the KRB Board.
\nShe has a daughter currently at KRB, and a daughter who graduated from KRB in 2022.
\n\nAndrew Landman serves as Head of BlackRock South Asia and APAC Wealth. He is also Deputy Head of APAC and responsible for all facets of the BlackRock business within South Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Certified Practising Accountancy Certificate (CPA).
\nPrior to assuming his current role, Andrew was Head of Client Business for the Asia-Pacific Region, responsible for both distribution and management of the Retail and Institutional relationships in Asia and Head of Institutional and BlackRock Alternative Specialists Group for APAC following a period of being Head of Client Businesses then CEO in Australia.
\nPrior to joining BlackRock, Andrew was Chief Executive Officer of Ascalon Capital Managers, a subsidiary of BT Financial Group. In addition to the role at Ascalon, Andrew was Head of Investment Strategy at BT Financial Group. Prior to Ascalon, Andrew was the Chief Financial Officer of Challenger Funds Management. He started his career at Bankers Trust where he worked extensively across the operations side of funds management.
\nAndrew is a current parent with a daughter at KRB.
\n\nWith a career of over 40 years in the real estate sector, both domestically and internationally, Jeff is an experienced real estate executive and has held a variety of roles from construction and property management to development and investment.
\nJeff is currently based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leading a significant urban regeneration project. Prior to this role, Jeff held roles with Lend Lease, AMP Capital and more recently Chief Technology & Infrastructure Officer at UNSW Sydney, where he was responsible for both the University’s real estate portfolio and IT systems.
\nAlthough most of his career has been based in Australia, he brings considerable knowledge of international markets, having worked in Europe for 10 years, but also in China, Japan and New Zealand. Jeff has experience in all real estate asset classes and has extensive experience dealing with both the State and Local Government.
\nJeff holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours (Quantity Surveying) and a Post Graduate Diploma (Applied Finance & Investment).
\nApart from being a member of the KRB Board and the Finance Committee, Jeff also chairs the Building Committee for KRB. Both of his daughters attended KRB.
\n\nLyndall holds a Law degree and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
\nIn her current role, she advises the Telstra Board and CEO, while leading a function spanning government relations, regulatory and compliance, sustainability, regional affairs, policy and stakeholder engagement.
\nShe brings extensive experience across legal and external relations, including at Caltex where she served as Executive General Manager, People, Communications and Governance, and Group General Counsel and Company Secretary.
\nPreviously, Lyndall was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at Asciano, overseeing commercial and regulatory matters across rail and ports during significant industry change. She also held roles at Patrick and spent 15 years at Clayton Utz specialising in corporate and competition law.
\nLyndall is passionate about inclusion, building diverse teams, and advancing social justice, with experience supporting Indigenous communities and asylum seekers. She is an alumna of KRB and a former parent.
\n\nLorraine was formerly a senior investment banker in Sydney and New York. She was responsible for the provision of advice (mergers, acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings) to several multinationals, public and private companies and advised on government privatisations.
\nIn addition to being a member of the KRB School Board, Lorraine also holds board positions with Studio A and currently as t Chair of the Museum of Contemporary Arts. She is also an Advisory Board member of Global Women Leaders – Strategic Philanthropy and is a member of the TATE Museum (Britain) International Council.
\nLorraine is a parent with a daughter at KRB.
\n\nKincoppal-Rose Bay is in the hands of our very capable leadership team who each share a passion for education and fostering a culture of learning and community within KRB.
\nErica Thomas commenced as Principal of Kincoppal-Rose Bay in January 2023. A highly experienced and passionate educator with a strong focus on academic excellence and student wellbeing, Erica is an advocate for the positive influence of modern education.
\nWith a career in education spanning over 30 years, Erica has held a number of senior leadership positions in independent schools across NSW including Acting Principal, Deputy Principal and Head of Senior School at Queenwood and Director of Teaching and Learning and Director of Boarding at Kincoppal-Rose Bay.
\nFrom 2014 – 2022, Erica was Head of School at Newcastle Grammar where she oversaw a significant transformation of the school. Erica holds a Bachelor of Education (Macquarie University), a Masters of Education (University of New England).
\n\nCarrie is an outstanding educator of girls, leading our senior campus as the Head of Senior School. With over twenty years of experience, she has extensive knowledge in the field of positive education and for the past nine years has successfully contributed to the strategic and operational direction of Kincoppal-Rose Bay on the School’s Leadership Team.
\nCarrie is passionate about ensuring that every student is able to achieve personal excellence; by creating an environment where each student feels supported, academically challenged and inspired to achieve. Carrie’s ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents alike has earned her a reputation as a strong, empathetic and forward-thinking leader. As Head of Senior School she is committed to working collaboratively across the school to ensure the best educational offering for all senior students.
\nCarrie is an exceptional communicator and strong role model for our students in the Senior School. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree from Australian National University (ANU), a Master of Teaching degree from Sydney University and a Graduate Certificate in Positive Psychology from Melbourne University.
\n\nRachael is a widely experienced and innovative school leader who has worked in Australia, Singapore, Spain and Switzerland. She has a deep respect for traditions and values and is the embodiment of a lifelong learner. The achievements of which she is most proud include building community in global contexts through developing meaningful relationships, implementing wellbeing and academic initiatives to improve student learning outcomes, inspiring staff to embed a nurturing and high performing culture, and leading whole-school strategic agendas. Rachael’s warm approach is immediately evident and she builds positive partnerships with parents.
\nRachael earned her Bachelor of Education from Queensland University of Technology and later gained her Master of Educational Leadership from Monash University in Melbourne.
\n\nWith over 20 years of teaching experience in Sydney as well as overseas, Lisa has held leadership positions at a number of independent girls schools in NSW including Monte and Queenwood.
\nLisa is passionate about teaching and loves the energy that students bring to the school environment.
\nAs Head of Academic Excellence, the Director of Studies role is responsible for creating systems and structures to support excellence in teaching and learning at KRB. This includes operational elements such as managing the timetable, the subject selection process, assessments and reporting systems and curriculum compliance, as well as overseeing staff who are responsible for academic programmes and working with students and families to meet academic needs.
\nLisa holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics and a Master of Teaching.
\n\nBrennan is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher in the area of Mission and Catholic and Christian identity. He has a strong commitment to continuing the development of staff and student understanding of our Sacred Heart charism. He has worked in the area of Mission across Sydney Catholic Schools for over 30 years, including in varied Religious Education and Mission leadership roles. Brennan has most recently worked as an Education Officer for the Mission and Identity Directorate of Sydney Catholic Schools. His leadership experience has included seven years in Deputy Principal roles.
\nBrennan is passionate about the experience of Immersion, Pilgrimage and Retreats as part of our Catholic and Christian journey.
\nBrennan’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Education, a Masters degree in Religious Education and a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from The Australian Catholic University.
\n\nTheo is a registered Chartered Accountant with 15 years of corporate finance experience working for Australia’s leading organisations across a range of projects and industries, including education. Theo has held multiple leadership positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
\nTheo holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from UCT.
\n\nMary worked as the Director of Advancement at Loreto Normanhurst, at the College of Law, University of Sydney and Roseville College, prior to taking up the role as Director of Advancement & Community at Kincoppal-Rose Bay.
\nShe has extensive experience in all areas of development, community relations and fundraising, having coordinated significant appeals for the new Sydney University Law School and a number of extensive building and bequest programs for schools.
\nMary is committed to ensuring that all members of the KRB community – parents, staff, past parents and alumnae are able to engage as closely as possible in different ways with the life of the School.
