Why KRB is Different

A school worth the journey — made simple and safe.

For more than a century, Kincoppal–Rose Bay has guided students with care, stabilityand belonging, providing families with the certainty that their children’s education is secure. Parents know we are not just here for today, but for their child’s entire journey.

At KRB, we believe in providing students with the space and rest to achieve success in all their endeavours. Achieving excellence through balance.

This independent Catholic ELC – Year 12 school is located in Rose Bay, just under 45-minute bus journey from the North Shore. With KRB’s private bus services stops in Northbridge, Willoughby, Mosman, Cremorne, Seaforth, Neutral Bay and more; access to opportunity has never been easier.

Every day, your child’s journey is safe, comfortable and calm — time for reflection, catching up with friends, and arriving ready for the day ahead.

A sanctuary for growth and opportunity

Once at KRB, students are given every opportunity to succeed in any avenue they choose. From our Junior School’s Positive Education philosophy through to the Senior years, we nurture the academic, emotional, social and spiritual growth of every child.

KRB students thrive without pressure, achieving outstanding academic results while growing into grounded, compassionate young people with a global outlook.

In our Junior School, small class sizes, expert educators, and a nurturing, diverse environment create the ideal setting for children to thrive. Specialist teachers lead engaging lessons in Music, Languages, PE, STEM and more, while flexible groupings in Mathematics and Honours classes allow students to learn at a pace and depth that
suits them.

Children enjoy multiple play and sport spaces, and the joy of Lunchtime Wild Time, where nature becomes a playground for imagination and connection. Leadership opportunities are embedded throughout the school, helping students grow into confident, compassionate contributors.

With the introduction of Cambridge Mathematics in 2026, KRB continues to offer a globally recognised academic pathway that prepares students for future success—while never losing sight of the joy and wonder of childhood.

Empowering Young Women in our Senior School

The girls-only Senior School at Kincoppal-Rose Bay is a vibrant, future-focused learning environment where academic excellence meets emotional resilience and leadership. Grounded in the belief that girls thrive when they are empowered to take risks, speak up and lead, our Senior School offers a tailored experience that supports each student’s growth—intellectually, socially and personally.

Through the SELF+ wellbeing framework, students engage in daily dedicated wellbeing sessions that foster self-awareness, balance and connection. Our small class sizes ensure personalised learning, while a strict mobile phone policy and technology-free days encourage presence, focus and meaningful relationships.

Academically, students follow the Australian/NSW Curriculum leading to the Higher School Certificate. In Years 9 and 10, students can elect to study courses from the internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE program, including English Literature, Marine Science, Global Perspectives and more. These diverse pathways offer flexibility while ensuring academic rigour.

Learning is enriched through specialist teachers, a homework centre for academic support, and purposeful co-educational experiences that prepare students for life beyond school. Leadership is a cornerstone of the Senior School experience, with opportunities embedded across all year levels—from peer mentoring to student-led initiatives.

At KRB, girls are encouraged to be bold thinkers, compassionate leaders and lifelong learners—ready to shape the world with integrity and vision.
